Salifert’s KH/Alkalinity test measures carbonate hardness and alkalinity in steps of 0.3 dKH or 0.1 meq/L, with a sharp color change. Carbonate and bicarbonate support pH buffering and are used in coral and coralline algae growth. The kit provides approximately 100–200 measurements.
