Nexus Aquatics exists because we got tired of opening boxes from big-box shippers and finding stressed, dyed, or barely-eating animals. Our mission is simple — every plant, coral, and fish that leaves our doors has been observed, conditioned, and verified ready. If we wouldn't put it in our own display tanks, we won't ship it to yours.
Hand-selected
We hand-pick every fish, frag, and plant from trusted aquaculture facilities and licensed wild-collectors. Nothing arrives at Nexus by accident.
Conditioned in-house
Fish ride out a full quarantine. Corals get dipped, mounted, and grown in stable reef systems. Plants are emersed-grown or tissue-cultured to arrive pest-free.
Shipped only when ready
If a specimen isn't eating, settled, and showing color — it doesn't ship. Period. We will refund or substitute before risking a bad arrival.

Nexus started in a basement fish room and grew into a full curation operation. Our founders have decades of combined experience across planted Dutch-style scapes, mixed reef systems, monster-fish keeping, and outdoor koi ponds. We've made every beginner mistake so you don't have to.
That hands-on experience shapes everything we do — from the species we offer, to the care sheets we write, to the way we pack a box for an overnight flight.
Plants
We're aquascapers first. Every plant pack is curated to actually work together — foreground, midground, background — with growth speed and color contrast in mind.
Corals
Aquacultured SPS, LPS, and softies grown under standard reef lighting and flow so they transition into your system with minimal stress and maximum pop.
Fish
No "fresh off the truck" listings. Every fish goes through observation, preventative treatment, and a feeding window before being eligible to ship.
Ponds
Outdoor koi and water-garden specialists. We help you build a balanced pond from the first lily pad to the centerpiece kohaku.
